We will begin going through the alphabet again.  This time we will work on objects beginning with each letter, color pictures, and write the letters.
 
This month we are also working on a unit called “All About Me”; positions; writing their names; and learning to tie their shoes, addresses, phone numbers, and birthdays.
 
On Thursday, February 10^th, we will have a Valentine’s Day Party and Valentine Card Exchange.  We will be making Valentine Delivery Trucks for our valentine cards.  Please do not put any other children’s names on the card’s outside or envelopes.  Each child sends one to everyone else in their class, but they just sign their own names on the back of the cards.  There are currently 15 in the class.  The cards should be brought February 8^th and 9^th.

Will the following children’s mothers please send a special snack for our Valentine Party: Lincoln Melton, Ava Myers, and Elaina Norman.
 
Reminder:  If the North Lawrence schools are called off because of the weather, we will also be called off.  Also, if there is a two-hour delay, class will be from 10:00—1:00.  Daycare will still be open regular hours those days.

2-Hour Delay, Daycare Open

 NLCS will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow, February 19th.  We will be open for daycare regular hours.

2-Hour Delay for Preschool and Daycare Tomorrow, 2/18

NLCS has tenatively called a 2-hour delay for tomorrow, February 18th.  We will have preschool from 10:00 to 1:00 tomorrow, if they still have a 2-hour delay (they're supposed to say by 7:30 a.m.)  We will have the Valentine's Day party tomorrow, if we have school.  Please send valentines (if you haven't) and party treats (if you're supposed to and haven't.  If school ends up being canceled, we'll have the party next Thursday.  We'll be open for daycare regular hours tomorrow no matter what happens with school.  Thank you and stay safe!

2-hour Delay February 10th

 There will be a 2-hour delay tomorrow for North Lawrence schools.  Preschool will be from 10:00 to 1:00.  Daycare will open like normal at 6:30.  Don't forget to bring valentines for preschool! Thanks!

2-Hour Delay, Maybe More

NLCS is having a 2-hour delay tomorrow, but it's subject to change by 8:00 am.  We will be open for daycare regular hours tomorrow, no matter what.  Preschool will be from 10:00 to 1:00, if they still end up going.  Thanks!

Snow Days Note

If North Lawrence schools are closed because of bad weather, our school is also closed.

 

If the North Lawrence schools have a two-hour delay, our class will be from 10:00 to 1:00.

 

If schools are closed or on two-hour delay, we will still be open for extended care for our usual hours of 6:30 to 5:30, if you need us.

If we miss 1 school day because of the weather, you still need to pay for that day.  If we miss 2 or 3 days of any 1 week, you only pay for 1 day missed that week.
