Note Daycare the Rest of May Edited

We thought that the last day of school was Thursday, May 29^th as originally scheduled, but it was changed to Friday, May 30^th instead. We need to know if your child is coming that day and if we need to pick them up from school.  Please let us know what time to get them if they need picked up.

We will be open for daycare regular hours on Friday, May 30^th.

Note About the Last Week of Preschool

We will be having preschool on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 20^th and 21^stonly.  There will be no class on Thursday, May 22^nd.  The kids that come on Tuesdays and Thursdays can come on Wednesday instead.  For students not graduating, cost for the week will be $16.  For students graduating it will be $24.

Graduation will be Thursday, May 22^nd from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.  All the graduates need to be here at 6:45 to get ready.  Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends.  It will be here at the preschool.  Graduation is only for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year.  The children will be wearing caps and gowns.  Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head.  Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

We will be having daycare regular hours on Thursday and Friday for those who need it.  Please pick up your kids by 5:00 on Thursday if possible so that we can finish preparing for graduation.

We will be closed for daycare on Monday, May 26^th, for Memorial Day, but we will be open regular hours the rest of that week.

Lake Monroe Field Trip Reminder

Just a reminder:  This Thursday, May 15^th, is our trip to Lake Monroe from 10:00 to 2:00.  Please again let us know if you can drive and help us.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  Your child needs to wear tennis shoes and bring a jacket please.  It’s supposed to be cooler that day, so please dress your children accordingly.  Thanks.

Rena will be tutoring children this summer.  This is for children going into kindergarten through Algebra.  If you are interested, please let us know.  We are trying to finalize that schedule.

We have 4 or 5 spots remaining for next year’s class.  If you have a child or know of someone who might be interested, they need to lets us know soon.

Spring Mill Field Trip Reminder

This Thursday, April 24^th, is our trip to Spring Mill from 10:00 to 2:00.  Please let us know if you can drive and help us.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  Please dress your children in a jacket and tennis shoes and not sandals or flip flops.  We will have daycare normal hours that day for anyone who needs us. Kindergarten screening is at Dollens Thursday, April 17^th.  Please call the school (275-3885) to schedule an individual time for your child.  For children that will be attending other schools, contact that school for screening dates and to schedule a time for your child.  Birth certificates are required at screening.

Easter Party and Spring Mill Date Changes

We've changed the dates of the Easter Party and Spring Mill field trip since sending home the March newsletter.  The Easter Party is changed from April 17th to the 16th because Dollens kindergarten screening is on the 17th.  Also, Spring Mill was also scheduled for the 17th in the newsletter, but it will be on April 24th instead.  Sorry about the confusion.

If we miss 1 school day because of weather, you still need to pay for that day.  If we miss 2 or 3 days any one week, you still pay for the 1 day that week.

Valentine's Day Party Reminder

On Thursday, February 13^th, we will have a Valentine’s Day Party and Valentine Day Card Exchange.  We will be making Valentine’s Delivery Trucks for our valentine cards.  Please do not put any other children’s names on the card’s outside or envelopes.  Each child sends one to everyone in their class, but they just sign their own names on the back of the cards.  There are currently 20 in the class.  The cards should be brought February 11^th and 12^th.

Will the following children’s mothers please send a special snack for our Valentine Party:  Kane Harper, Connor Sickel, Priscilla Sims, and Adyson Smith.
