Closed Tomorrow, Thursday, March 18th from 8:00 to 3:00

We will be closed for preschool and daycare from 8:00 to 3:00 tomorrow, Thursday, March 18^th, for a family funeral.  Sorry about the inconvenience and late notice.  There won’t be any charge for preschool and daycare.  Please try to come by and pay tomorrow afternoon or Friday if possible.

 North Lawrence schools are closed for at least Monday and Tuesday this week.  There will be no preschool on Tuesday.  We will be open for daycare regular hours Monday and Tuesday if you need us and if you can get here.  Please be careful if you have to get out!

No School, Yes Daycare 2/11

North Lawrence schools are closed again tomorrow, February 11th, and preschool will be also.  We will be open for daycare regular hours.  We'll shift the preschool schedule from the newsletter for this week to next week, and have the Valentine's Day party until next Thursday, February 18th.  Please bring valentines by next Tuesday, February 16th.  Thank you and stay safe!

Snow Days Note

If North Lawrence schools are closed because of bad weather, our school is also closed.

 

If the North Lawrence schools have a two-hour delay, our class will be from 10:00 to 1:00.

 

If schools are closed or on two-hour delay, we will still be open for extended care for our usual hours of 6:30 to 5:30, if you need us.

January 2021 Newsletter

Week of January 5th to 7th -- A & B Week, Begin Positions--Under & On Week, 9 & 10, All About Me, and Winter

Week of January 12th to 14th -- C & D Week, In & Between Week, Dentists, All About Me, Winter, and Martin Luther King Day

Week of January 19th to 21st -- E & F Week, Eskimos, Friends, Winter, and All About Me

 

We will begin going through the alphabet again.  This time we will work on objects beginning with each letter, color pictures, and write the letters.

This month we are also working on a unit called “All About Me”; positions; writing their names; and learning to tie their shoes, addresses, phone numbers, and birthdays.

 On Thursday, February 11^th, we will have a Valentine’s Day Party and Valentine Card Exchange.  We will be making Valentine Delivery Trucks for our valentine cards.  Please do not put any other children’s names on the card’s outside or envelopes.  Each child sends one to everyone else in their class, but they just sign their own names on the back of the cards.  There are currently 19 in the class, including teachers.  The cards should be brought by February 9^th.

 Will the following children please send a special snack for our Valentine Party:  Lincoln Melton, Ava Myers, and Ember Underwood.

 Reminder:  If the North Lawrence schools are called off because of the weather, we will also be called off.  Also, if there is a two-hour delay, class will be from 10:00—1:00.  Daycare will still be open regular hours those days.

If we miss 1 school day because of the weather, you still need to pay for that day.  If we miss 2 or 3 days of any 1 week, you only pay for 1 day missed that week.

North Lawrence Community Schools are closed for today, Thursday, January 5th, so our preschool is closed today also. We are open for daycare for regular hours. The kids need to bring a lunch and a blanket and a pillow if they don't already have one here. Thank you, Rohnda and Rena
