New Newsletter Schedule

This week, February 23rd to 25th, we're going to combine the Valentine's Day week and M & N Week/George Washington.  We'll have the Valentine's Day party on February 25th.  Next week we'll do O & P Week.  Then we'll start a new newsletter after that.  Thank you.

2-Hour Delay, Daycare Open

 NLCS will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow, February 19th.  We will be open for daycare regular hours.

2-Hour Delay for Preschool and Daycare Tomorrow, 2/18

NLCS has tenatively called a 2-hour delay for tomorrow, February 18th.  We will have preschool from 10:00 to 1:00 tomorrow, if they still have a 2-hour delay (they're supposed to say by 7:30 a.m.)  We will have the Valentine's Day party tomorrow, if we have school.  Please send valentines (if you haven't) and party treats (if you're supposed to and haven't.  If school ends up being canceled, we'll have the party next Thursday.  We'll be open for daycare regular hours tomorrow no matter what happens with school.  Thank you and stay safe!

No school, yes daycare 2/15-2/16

 North Lawrence schools are closed for at least Monday and Tuesday this week.  There will be no preschool on Tuesday.  We will be open for daycare regular hours Monday and Tuesday if you need us and if you can get here.  Please be careful if you have to get out!

No School, Yes Daycare 2/11

North Lawrence schools are closed again tomorrow, February 11th, and preschool will be also.  We will be open for daycare regular hours.  We'll shift the preschool schedule from the newsletter for this week to next week, and have the Valentine's Day party until next Thursday, February 18th.  Please bring valentines by next Tuesday, February 16th.  Thank you and stay safe!

2-hour Delay February 10th

 There will be a 2-hour delay tomorrow for North Lawrence schools.  Preschool will be from 10:00 to 1:00.  Daycare will open like normal at 6:30.  Don't forget to bring valentines for preschool! Thanks!

Valentine Cards and Party Reminder

Next Thursday, February 11^th, we will have a Valentine’s Day Party and Valentine Day Card Exchange.  We will be making Valentine’s Delivery Trucks for our valentine cards.  Please do not put any other children’s names on the card’s outside or envelopes.  Each child sends one to everyone in the class, but they just sign their own names on the back of the cards.  There are currently 17 people in the class.  The cards should be brought by next Tuesday, February 9^th.

Will the following children’s mothers please send a special snack for our Valentine Party:  Lincoln Melton, Ava Myers, and Ember Underwood.

February 2021 Newsletter

Week of January 26th to 28th -- G & H Week, Groundhogs, Hats, and Positions Review

January 28th--Wear a Hat Day

Week of February 2nd to 4th -- K & L Week, Kings, Library, and Abraham Lincoln

Week of February 9th to 11th -- I & J Week, Ice Cream, Jelly Beans, Valentine's Day

February 9th -- Valentines due at school

February 11th -- Valentine's Day Party

Week of February 16th to 18th -- M & N Week, Mice, and George Washington

We will be studying about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.  Your child should know many interesting facts about them by the end of the month.

REMINDER:  If the North Lawrence schools are called off because of the weather, we will also be called off.  Also, if there is a two-hour delay class will be from 10:00-1:00.  Daycare will still be open regular hours those days.
