23rd Psalm Thursdays Reminder

Just a reminder:  We will be learning about the 23^rd Psalm starting this Thursday, June 13^th.  The class will be from 9:00 to 1:00.  Classes are also on June 20^th and 27^th and July 11^th and 18^th.

May 24^th -- Start Summer Daycare

May 27^th -- Memorial Day (Closed)

May 29^th -- Last Day of School NLCS

June 13^th -- The 23^rd Psalm

June 28^th -- Sunshine School Registration Due

We will be open regular daycare hours the week of May 28^th to 31^st.

Daycare rates are $1 an hour per child.  Please let us know in advance if your child will or will not be attending.  We’re open 6:30-5:30.  Children need to bring a lunch, a drink, and a fork and/or spoon if needed.  We do not microwave.  Children also need to bring a blanket and pillow for rest time after lunch.

We can give kids rides back and forth from Cat Camp if needed.

We will be learning about the 23^rd Psalm this summer.  Class times are from 9:00 to 1:00 on Thursdays.  Lunch is from 11:00 to 12:00 every day. 

Please bring a package of napkins (200-count package) for the summer.

Rena will be tutoring between 9:00 and 5:30 this summer.  Please let her know as soon as possible if you are interested.

May 2019 Newsletter

Week of April 30th to May 2nd -- Continue Dinosaurs Unit--Pteranodon, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex; Environment

Week of May 7th to 9th -- Mother's Day, Environment

Week of May 14th to 16th -- Ocean

Week of May 21st to 23rd -- Summer

May 23rd -- Graduation at 7:00, no preschool or daycare

We will be continuing to practice graduation songs this month.

There will not be any class or extended care on Thursday, May 23^rd.  For students not graduating, cost for the week will be $22.  For students graduating it will be $32.

Graduation will be Thursday, May 23^rd at 7:00 p.m.  All the graduates need to be here at 6:45 to get ready.  Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends.  It will be here at the preschool.  Graduation is only for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year.  The children will be wearing caps and gowns.  Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head.  Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

Rena will be tutoring children this summer.  This is for children going into kindergarten through Algebra.  If you are interested, please let us know.  We are trying to finalize that schedule.

Fund-Raiser Reminder, Summer Plans, & Preschool Registration

Our fund-raiser ends this Thursday, April 4^th.  Please return money to exchange for the Peel-to-Save cards on or before that day.

We need to know as soon as possible about everyone’s plans for this summer for daycare and tutoring so we can know how make sure we have enough spots for everyone.

We have already started registering kids for next year for preschool.  We have a few spots left, including the kids returning from this year.  If you know of anyone interested, please have them get with us soon.

April 2019 Newsletter

Week of April 2nd to 4th -- W & X Week, Wild West, Rain

Week of April 9th to 11th -- Y & Z Week, Yellowjackets, Zoo, Spring

Week of April 23rd it 25th -- Dinosaurs:  Brontosaurus, Allosaurus, and Stegosaurus; Environment

April 25th -- Spring Mill field trip from 9:00 to 2:00

We are continuing to practice graduation songs this month.

The Easter Party will be on Thursday, April 18th.  There are currently 21 people in the class.  Will the following children please bring a special snack:  Logan Sims, Michael Thompson, Allie Turner, Silas Widau, Kinzley Chastain, and Nolan Melton.

Thursday, April 25^th, is our field trip to Spring Mill from 9:00 to 2:00.  Please let us know if you can drive and help us.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  This is our only field trip.

The last day of school has been changed to Wednesday, May 22^nd, and graduation is changed to Thursday, May 23^rd.
