Spring Mill Field Trip Reminders and Notes

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 25^th, is our field trip to Spring Mill from 9:00 to 2:00.  We have enough parents helping, thanks!  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  Please have your child wear a jacket and tennis shoes.  Everyone needs to be here at 8:30.  We will still be going to Spring Mill and do what we can unless it’s storming.

Easter Party and Spring Mill Field Trip Reminders

The Easter Party will be tomorrow, Thursday, April 18th.  There are currently 22 people in the class.  Will the following children please bring a special snack:  Logan Sims, Michael Thompson, Allie Turner, Silas Widau, Kinzley Chastain, and Nolan Melton.

Next Thursday, April 25^th, is our field trip to Spring Mill from 9:00 to 2:00.  Please let us know by Tuesday, April 23^rd, if you can drive and help us.  We still need help.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  This is our only field trip.

Fund-Raiser Reminder, Summer Plans, & Preschool Registration

Our fund-raiser ends this Thursday, April 4^th.  Please return money to exchange for the Peel-to-Save cards on or before that day.

We need to know as soon as possible about everyone’s plans for this summer for daycare and tutoring so we can know how make sure we have enough spots for everyone.

We have already started registering kids for next year for preschool.  We have a few spots left, including the kids returning from this year.  If you know of anyone interested, please have them get with us soon.

Week of April 2nd to 4th -- W & X Week, Wild West, Rain

We are continuing to practice graduation songs this month.

Our fund-raiser ends this Thursday, April 4^th.  Please return money to exchange for the Peel-to-Save cards on or before that day.

The last day of school has been changed to Wednesday, May 22^nd, and graduation is changed to Thursday, May 23^rd.

·         Continue Dinosaur Unit

·         Graduation will be May 23^rd.  This is for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year.  It is at 7:00 here at the school.

Peel-to-Save Cards Fundraiser

We’re selling Peel-to-Save Cards for a fundraiser through Thursday, April 4^th.  Each card costs $10 and we get $5 back from each card sold.  We’re working towards raising money to buy a generator for the school.  Please collect money for the cards and return the money at any time before or at the end of the fundraiser to receive the cards.  Attached is a sheet that shows all of the coupons that are on the cards and a script to use when selling them.  Please use the attached form to take orders for the cards and the envelope to collect money.  For every 10 cards you sell you get one free.

Each card includes coupons for Golden Corral, Casa Brava, McDonald’s, Marco’s Pizza, Family Video, Jiffy Treat, Celebrations Play Center, Johnny Junxions, El Compadre, Smokin Jims BBQ, Papa John’s, Captain D’s, UPS, Gasoline Alley Marathon, Big O Tires, Chicago’s Pizza, Burger King, Orange Leaf, and Patrick Price Hitting.  The cards expire June 30, 2020.
