Week of August 23rd to 25th -- Colors (Green and Blue), Color Review, E & F Week, Green Eggs and Ham, Humpty Dumpty, Little Boy Blue, Eggs, Frogs, Grandparents Day
This
month your child will explore the world of learning and will develop many new
basic skills. Encourage your child to
practice and develop these new skills.
During this month we will study about colors, letters, airplanes,
alligators, bears, cats, dogs, eggs, frogs, and grandparents. Our calendar shows when we are studying each
color and letter. We will introduce a
new color every day and two new letters each week.
For the year every child
needs to bring the following: 1 package
of napkins (200 count) and 1 box of tissues (200 count).
If
your child is sick or will not be attending, please call and let us know before
class begins.
Please
put your child’s name on their coat, sweater, or any other items brought from
home. Please double knot your child’s
shoes.
We will come out and get
the children for class. Please do not come
inside the gate. We will also bring the
children back out to the gate after class.
Also, please hand us any money or other things instead of putting them
in the child’s backpacks. Thank you.
Please be aware of
personal hygiene
such as brushing teeth and combing hair.
Girls need to wear shorts under dresses or skirts.
Please
turn off any electronic devices before bringing or picking up your child.
Show
and Tell will begin in October.
