Alternate Phone Number, Fundraiser, and Easter Party

We are having some problems with our preschool phone number (812-279-5048).  If you can’t reach us at that number, please call or text Rena’s cell phone number at 812-276-8453.  They’re working on getting our landline number fixed.

Also, our fundraiser ends this Thursday, March 26^th.  Please bring any money that you have collected to receive cards by then.  Don’t forget that for every 10 cards that you sell you get a card for free.

The Easter Party will be this Thursday, March 29^th.  There are currently 16 people in the class.  Will the following mothers please send a special snack:  Eli Ryan, Alex Christian, Ryder & Finley Crane.

Peel-to-Save Cards Fundraiser

We’re selling Peel-to-Save Cards for a fundraiser through Thursday, March 29^th.  Each card costs $10 and we get $5 back from each card sold.  We’re working towards raising money to buy a generator for the school.  Please collect money for the cards and return the money at any time before or at the end of the fundraiser to receive the cards.  Attached is a sheet that shows all of the coupons that are on the cards and a script to use when selling them.  Please use the attached form to take orders for the cards and the envelope to collect money.  For every 10 cards you sell you get one free.

Each card includes coupons for Golden Corral, Marco’s Pizza, Family Video, Captain D’s, Smokin Jims BBQ, Casa Brava, Johnny Junxions, Papa John’s, Celebrations Play Center, Jiffy Treat, Penn Station, Burger King, Orange Leaf, UPS, Big O Tires, Gasoline Alley Marathon, Chicago’s Pizza, El Compadre, and McDonald’s.  The cards expire June 30, 2019.

Spring Break Reminder

Just a reminder:  Spring Break is March 12^th through 16^th.  We will be closed for both school and daycare.  We will reopen on March 19^th.

March 2018 Newsletter

We will be closed the week of March 13^th.  There will be no school or daycare.

We will be evaluating the students that will be going to kindergarten next year beginning March 6^th.

If your child will be attending kindergarten next year, make sure and call their school to make an appointment for kindergarten screening on their school’s day.  Children must turn 5 on or before August 1^st.

REMINDER:  If the North Lawrence schools are called off because of the weather, we will also be called off.  Also, if there is a two-hour delay, class will be from 10:00-1:00.  Daycare will still be open regular hours.

If we miss 1 school day because of weather, you still need to pay for that day.  If we miss 2 or 3 days any one week, you still pay for the 1 day that week.

Parents should call the school to make an appointment prior to the screening date. On the day of the screening, parents should bring the child, the child’s birth certificate and immunization records, and proof of custody (if applicable).

We will be studying about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.  Your child should know many interesting facts about them by the end of the month.

On Wednesday, February 14^th, we will have a Valentine’s Day Party and Valentine Day Card Exchange.  We will be making Valentine’s Delivery Trucks for our valentine cards.  Please do not put any other children’s names on the card’s outside or envelopes.  Each child sends one to everyone in the class, but they just sign their own names on the back of the cards.  There are currently 16 in the class.  The cards should be brought February 7^th and 8^th.

Will the following children’s mothers please send a special snack for our Valentine Party:  Lillie Holmes, Amelia McDowell, and Sadie Myers.
