Fish Hatchery Field Trip Reminder

This Thursday, May 19th, we will have a field trip to the Avoca State Fish Hatchery from 10:00 to 2:00. Everyone will need to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice. We again need parents to drive and help. Please let us know if you can help. Please bring a jacket and wear tennis shoes. We do some walking. Thank you.

Week of May 10th to 12th--Continue Dinosaurs Unit: Pteranodon, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus Rex

Week of May 17th to 19th--Jesus Loves the Little Children and Baseball
May 19th--Fish Hatchery Field Trip from 10:00 to 2:00

Week of May 24th to 26th--End of School, Summer, and Memorial Day
May 26th--No Class and Graduation from 7:00-8:00


Thank you for the delicious snacks you have been sending at the beginning of each month.

We will be continuing to practice graduation songs this month.

On Thursday, May 19th, we will have a field trip to the Avoca State Fish Hatchery from 10:00 to 2:00. Everyone will need to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice. We again need parents to drive and help. Please let us know if you can help.

There will be no class on Thursday, May 26th. For students not graduating cost will be $20 that week. For students graduating it will be $30.

Graduation will be Thursday, May 26th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. All the graduates need to be here at 6:45 to get ready. Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends. It will be here at the preschool. Graduation is only for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year. The children will be wearing caps and gowns. Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head. Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

Rena will be tutoring children this summer. This is for children going into kindergarten through 8th grade. If you are interested, please let us know. We are trying to finalize that schedule.

We hope that you have a safe and happy summer. Please remember to buckle up. Thank you for sharing your child with us.

We will begin practicing graduation songs this month.

The Easter Party will be on Thursday, April 21st. There are 13 people in the class. Will the following mothers please send a special snack: Cole Baker, Briley Hyde, and Kyle McMillan.

Thursday, April 28th, is our trip to Spring Mill from 10:00 to 2:00. Please let us know if you can drive and help us. Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.

We are moving the end of the school year and graduation to Thursday, May 26th. This is because of the snow days we had this school year.

Coming up in May:

We will begin practicing graduation songs this month.

Kindergarten screening at Dollens is Thursday, April 15th. Please call the school (275-3885) to schedule an individual time for your child. For children tht will be attending other schools, contact that school for screening dates and to schedule a time for your child. Birth certificates are required at screening.

The Easter Party will be on Thursday April 1st. There are 18 people in the class. Will the following mothers please send a special snack for this: Addeline Ward, Brilynn Weilbaker, and Ashlyn Wever.

On Tuesday, May 8th, we will have a picnic at the Avoca State Fish Hatchery from 10:00 to 2:00. Everyone will need to bring a sack lunch (no lunch boxes) and 2 cans of pop or juice. Please wear tennis shoes (no sandals). We again need parents to drive and help. Please let us know if you can help.

Graduation will be Thursday, May 15th, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All the graduates need to be here at the preschool at 6:45 to get ready. Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends. It will be here at the preschool. Graduation is only for those who will be attending kindergarten next year. This will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 12:00. The cost will be $20 a week. Please let us know if you will be interested so we can plan materials. This is for children age 4 through 8th grade.

Rena will be tutoring children this summer. This is for children going into kindergarten through 8th grade. If you are interested, please let us know. We are trying to finalize that schedule.
