Graduation will be Thursday, May 17th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. All the graduates need to be here at 6:45 to get ready. Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends. It will be here at the preschool. Graduation is only for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year. The children will be wearing caps and gowns. Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head. Refreshments will follow the ceremony.
Parking is limited here at the preschool, so if possible we need for some people to park at Corey’s Restaurant on Hoosier Avenue and carpool over.
Daycare: On Thursday, we need the kids to be picked up as close to 5:00 as possible so that we can prepare for graduation later that evening.

Preschool Fish Hatchery Trip Reminder
On Thursday, May 10th, we will have a field trip to the Avoca State Fish Hatchery from 10:00 to 2:00. Everyone will need to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice. Please wear tennis shoes and bring a jacket or sweater. We again need parents to drive and help. Please let us know if you can help.

* Week of April 24th to 26th--Dinosaurs--Brontosaurus, Allosaurus, and Stegosaurus; Environment
* Week of May 1st to 3rd--Dinosaurs--Pteranodon, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex; Environment
* Week of May 8th to 10th--Mother's Day, Strangers, and Fish Hatchery Field Trip
* Week of May 15th to 17th--Baseball, Memorial Day, End of Year/Summer, Graduation
Thank you for the delicious snacks you have been sending at the beginning of each month.
We will be practicing graduation songs this month.
On Thursday, May 10th, we will have a field trip to the Avoca State Fish Hatchery from 10:00 to 2:00. Everyone will need to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice. We again need parents to drive and help. Please let us know if you can help.

Beginning on June 12th we will have a unit on United States history from the 1820’s to 1850’s. This includes the Oregon Trail, Alamo, Gold Rush, and Pony Express. Besides learning a lot of information, we will also have games and craft projects. This will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 12:00. The cost will be $20 a week. Please let us know if you will be interested so we can plan materials. This is for children age 4 through 6th grade.
Rena will be tutoring children this summer. This is for children going into kindergarten through 8th grade. If you are interested, please let us know. We are trying to finalize that schedule.
We hope that you have a safe and happy summer. Please remember to buckle up. Thank you for sharing your child with us.
