Spring Mill Field Trip Reminder

This Thursday, April 24^th, is our trip to Spring Mill from 10:00 to 2:00.  Please let us know if you can drive and help us.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  Please dress your children in a jacket and tennis shoes and not sandals or flip flops.  We will have daycare normal hours that day for anyone who needs us. Thank you.

Easter Party Reminder Note

The Easter Party has been changed to Wednesday, April 16th, because of Dollens kindergarten screening on Thursday, April 17th.  The kids that come on Tuesday and Thursday are welcome to come Tuesday and Wednesday that week instead.  There are currently 21 people in the class.  Will the following mothers please send a special snack:  Carter Sollman, Tayah Stinson, Rihanna Tillett, Conner and Cooper Wallbrown, and Brooklyn Asbury.  Thank you.

Week of April 1st to 3rd--T, U, & V Week; Trains; Umbrellas; Veterinarians/Pets; and April Fool's Day

Week of April 8th to 10th--W & X Week, Wild West, X's, and Rain

Week of April 15th to 17th--Easter

April 16th--Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt

Week of April 22nd to 24th--Y & Z Week, Yellowjackets, and Zoo

Thank you for sending all of the delicious snacks at the beginning of each month.  We now have 21 people.

We will begin practicing graduation songs this month.

Kindergarten screening is at Dollens Thursday, April 17^th.  Please call the school (275-3885) to schedule an individual time for your child.  For children that will be attending other schools, contact that school for screening dates and to schedule a time for your child.  Birth certificates are required at screening.

The end of the school year will be Wednesday, May 21^st, and graduation will be Thursday, May 22^nd.

Coming up in May:

·          Field Trip to Lake Monroe on May 15^th from 10:00 to 2:00.  We will again need help.

·         Continue Dinosaur Unit

·         Graduation will be May 22^nd.  This is only for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year.  It is at 7:00 p.m. here at the school.

Easter Party and Spring Mill Date Changes

We've changed the dates of the Easter Party and Spring Mill field trip since sending home the March newsletter.  The Easter Party is changed from April 17th to the 16th because Dollens kindergarten screening is on the 17th.  Also, Spring Mill was also scheduled for the 17th in the newsletter, but it will be on April 24th instead.  Sorry about the confusion.

Week of March 11th to 13th--St. Patrick's Day

Week of March 18th to 20th--Q, R, & S Week, Queens, Rabbits, Sailboats, Review

Spring Break—March 25^th, 26^th, & 27^th—No Class

We will be closed the entire week of March 24^th.  There will be no daycare.

We will be evaluating the students that will be entering kindergarten next year beginning  March 3^rd.

REMINDER:  If the North Lawrence schools are called off because of the weather, we will also be called off.  Also, if there is a two-hour delay, class will be from 10:00-12:00.

If we miss 1 school day because of weather, you still need to pay for that day.  If we miss 2 or 3 days any one week, you still pay for the 1 day that week.
