Extended Care Note for This Week and Next Week

 *     On Thursday, May 21^st, please pick up your children from daycare by 5:00 or as soon as you can after that so we can get ready for graduation.

·    *     We will be closed for daycare Monday, May 25^th, for Memorial Day.  We will be open regular hours the rest of the week.

·    *    We need to know if your kids will be coming for daycare on the last day of school, Friday, May 29^th.  If they are coming, we need to know if they need picked up from school, and if so what time.

·    *     We need to know if your children will be here this summer and for what days as soon as possible.

Preschool Note for the Last Week of School and Beyond

*     There will be no class this Thursday, May 21^st.  For students not graduating, cost for the week will be $16.  For students graduating it will be $24.  We will have daycare regular hours Thursday and Friday.

·    *     Graduation is this Thursday, May 21^st from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.  All the graduates need to be here at 6:45 to get ready.  Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends.  It will be here at the preschool.  Graduation is only for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year.  The children will be wearing caps and gowns.  Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head.  Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

Lake Monroe Field Trip & Snack Reminder

Just a reminder:  Next Thursday, May 14^th, is our trip to Lake Monroe from 10:00 to 2:00.  Please again let us know if you can drive and help us, as we still need help.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  Your child needs to wear tennis shoes and bring a jacket, please.

Thank you for sending all of the delicious snacks at the beginning of each month.  We now have 19 people.

We will be continuing to practice graduation songs this month.

We will be learning about space this summer.  Space Units are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00.  Cost is $6 a session.  Classes are June 16^th & 18^th, June 23^rd & 25^th, July 14^th & 16^th, and July 21^st & 23^rd.  This is open to any kids who have been in preschool already through 8^th grade.

Rena will be tutoring children this summer.  This is for children going into kindergarten through Algebra.  If you are interested, please let us know.  We are trying to finalize that schedule.

Spring Mill Field Trip Postponed

We are going to have to postpone our field trip to Spring Mill from this Thursday until next Thursday, April 23^rd.  The weather forecast for this Thursday is for rain.  Next Thursday’s weather is looking better so far. 

Please let us know if you can still drive and help us.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  Please dress your children in a jacket and tennis shoes and not sandals or flip flops.  We will have daycare normal hours that day for anyone who needs us. Thank you.

Summer 2015 Calendar and Rates

Space Units are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00.  Cost is $6 a session.

Daycare rates for this summer will be $1 an hour per child.  Please let us know in advance if your child will or will not be coming.  We might be going on some short trips.  We’re open 6:30—5:30.  Children need to bring a lunch and a drink.  We do not microwave.  Children also need to bring a blanket and pillow for rest time after lunch.

Rena will be tutoring starting at 9:00 a.m. except during the space unit.  Please let her know as soon as possible.
