Just a reminder:  We’re closed next week, Monday to Friday, August 1^st to 5^th.  We will reopen on Monday, August 8^th.  Please let us know if your kids will be here August 8^th, 9^th, or 10^th.  Thank you.

Summer Class Times

Class times this summer are from 9:00 to 1:00 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Lunch is from 11:00 to 12:00 every day. 

If you haven’t brought napkins (200-count package) yet, please do.

Summer Notes

We need a package of 200 napkins for each child for the summer. 

Our quiet time is from 1:00 to 3:00.  Please do not pick up your child during this time. 

Our special planet activities are on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning on June 8^th.

Summer 2016 Calendar

May 18^th--Last Day of School Sunshine School

May 19^th--Closed/Sunshine School Graduation

July 1^st--Sunshine School Registration Due

July 4^th—8^th--Closed

Daycare rates are $1 an hour per child.  Please let us know in advance if your child will or will not be attending.  We’re open 6:30-5:30.  Children need to bring a lunch, a drink, and a fork and/or spoon if needed.  We do not microwave.  Children also need to bring a blanket and pillow for rest time after lunch.

Rena will be tutoring between 9:00 and 5:00 this summer.  Please let her know as soon as possible if you are interested.

May 2016 Newsletter

Week of May 3rd to 5th--Mother's Day and Stranger Danger

May 3rd--No School

Week of May 10th to 12th--Environment and Ocean Animals

Week of May 17th to 19th--Summer, Baseball, End of School, Memorial Day

May 19th--No Class or Daycare

              --Graduation at 7:00 p.m.

Thank you for sending all of the delicious snacks at the beginning of each month.  We have 21 people.

We will be continuing to practice graduation songs this month.

There will not be any class or extended care on Thursday, May 19^th.  For students not graduating, cost for the week will be $16.  For students graduating it will be $24.

Graduation will be Thursday, May 19^th at 7:00 p.m.  All the graduates need to be here at 6:45 to get ready.  Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends.  It will be here at the preschool.  Graduation is only for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year.  The children will be wearing caps and gowns.  Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head.  Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

Rena will be tutoring children this summer.  This is for children going into kindergarten through Algebra.  If you are interested, please let us know.  We are trying to finalize that schedule.

We have 4 or 5 spots remaining for next year’s class.  If you have a child or know of someone who might be interested, they need to let us know soon.
