Anna Mae Catlett

Jan. 26, 1926 - Feb. 28, 2007

Anna Mae Catlett, 81, Seymour, died at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mrs. Catlett was a member of First Baptist Church of Seymour, where, for more than 25 years, she taught Sunday school for the fifth- and sixth-grade boys. She worked at Gerwin Shoe Factory and Excello Shirt Factory and was the owner of Ann's Coffee Shop in Seymour.
Born Jan. 26, 1926, in Booneville, Ky., she was the daughter of Johnny and Rose Sebastian, both of whom preceded her in death. On Nov. 5, 1947, she married Edward Neal Briner, who died in 1961. On June 9, 1966, she married James Alvin Catlett, who died in 1992.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Sebastian, Clarksville, Rosanna Briner, Seymour, and Rohnda (Robert) Ball, Oolitic; a son, Gary Briner, Texas; three stepsons, Glen Catlett, Jerry Catlett and Carl Catlett; a brother, Henry Clay Sebastian, Crothersville; and four grandchildren.
The Rev. Bruce Cochran will conduct services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will follow at Crothersville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial s may be given to Parkinson Research.
