March 2007 Newsletter

* Week of Feb. 27th to Mar. 1st--St. Patrick's Day, Start Kindergarten Evaluations

* Week of Mar. 6 to 8th--O & P Week, Pigs, Post Office, Tornadoes, Finish Kindergarten Evaluations

* Week of Mar. 13th to 15th--Q, R, & S Week, Queens, Rabbits, Sun

* Week of Mar. 20th to 22nd--T, U, & V Week, Trains, Umbrellas, Vets, April Fool's Day

Spring Break--March 27th, 28th, and 29th--No Class

We will be closed the entire week of March 26th. There will be no daycare.

Thank you for the delicious snacks you have been sending at the beginning of each month.

We will be evaluating the students that will be entering kindergarten next year beginning this month.

We need each child to again bring 1 box of 5 ounce cups (200 count) and 1 package of napkins (200 count). We are starting to run out. Thanks.

Kindergarten screening at Dollens is Wednesday, March 13th. Please call the school (275-3885) to schedule an individual time for your child. For children that will be attending other schools, contact that school for screening dates and to schedule a time for your child. Birth certificates are required at screening.

We will be having our spring fund-raiser at the end of this month. More information later. With the money raised from the fall fund-raiser we were able to buy a DVD player, combination music player, which has a radio and plays CD, records, and tapes, and some books.

Reminder: If the North Lawrence Schools are called off for weather reasons, we will also be called off. Also, if there is a two-hour delay, class will be from 10:00-12:00.
