Note about May 28th to June 1st

Just a reminder:  We will be closed next Monday, May 28^th for Memorial Day.

We will be open for daycare regular hours the rest of the week.  Please let us know if your child needs picked up after Honor Day on Thursday, May 31^st, and if yes, what time to pick them up at.  We can pick them up, but we need to know.  Thanks.

Graduation Day Reminder

Just a reminder:  There will be no class this Thursday, May 24^th.  We will have daycare regular hours that day.

Graduation will be that night, Thursday, May 24^th, at 7:00 p.m.  All the graduates need to be here at the preschool at 6:45 to get ready.  Graduation will begin at 7:00 for parents, relatives, and friends.  It will be here at the preschool.  Graduation is only for those who will be attending kindergarten next year.  The children will be wearing caps and gowns.  Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head.  Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

Thanks for sending all of the delicious snacks at the beginning of each month.

On Thursday, May 17^th, we will have a picnic and activities at the Lake Monroe Overlook from 10:00 to 2:00.  Everyone will need to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  We again need parents to drive and help.  Please let us know if you can help.

Rena will be tutoring children this summer.  This is for children going into kindergarten through Algebra.  If you are interested, please let us know.  We are trying to finalize that schedule.

Thank you for all of the delicious snacks you have been sending at the first of the month.

We will begin practicing graduation songs this month.

Kindergarten screening at Dollens is Thursday, March 29^th.  Please call the school (275-3885) to schedule an individual time for your child.  For children that will be attending other schools, contact that school for screening dates and to schedule a time for your child.  Birth certificates are required at screening.

The Easter Party will be on Thursday, April 5^th.  There are 14 people in the class.  Will the following mothers please send a special snack for this:  Owen Robbins, Emily Bradford, Mylee Branaman, and Alex Carmichael.

Thursday, April 19^th, is our trip to Spring Mill from 10 to 2.  Please let us know if you can drive and help us.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  We do not go to the souvenir stand.

Coming up in May:

*  Begin Dinosaur Unit.

*  Last day of school will be May 23^rd.  No class on May 24^th, only daycare.

*  Graduation will be May 24^th.  This is only for the kids who will be attending

    kindergarten next year.  It begins at 7:00 p.m. at the school.
