Spring Mill and No School May 3rd Reminder (Preschool and Extended Care)

Just a reminder:  This Thursday, April 28^th, is our field trip to Spring Mill from 9:00 to 2:00.  Kids should still come at 8:30, and we will be leaving at 9:00.  Kids need to wear play clothes and tennis shoes and bring a jacket.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch (no lunch boxes) and 2 drinks (in something disposable).  We still need parents to help.  We will still be open for daycare regular hours that day.

Also, next Tuesday, May 3^rd, there isn’t any class.  Schools are closed for the primary election that day.  We will still be open for daycare that day.  All kids coming for daycare need to bring lunches (including a drink and any eating utensils needed) and a blanket and a pillow if they don’t already have one here.  It will be $16 for the week for preschool.

Thank you for sending all of the delicious snacks at the beginning of each month.  We now have 21 people.

We are practicing graduation songs this month.

Thursday, April 28^th, is our field trip to Spring Mill from 9:00 to 2:00.  Please let us know if you can drive and help us.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch and 2 cans of pop or juice.  This is our only field trip.

The last day of school will be on Wednesday, May 18^th, and graduation will be Thursday, May 19^th.

Coming up in May:

·          Graduation will be May 19^th.  This is for the kids who will be attending kindergarten next year.  It is at 7:00 here at the school.

March 2016 Newsletter

Week of March 1st to 3rd--Q, R, & S Week, Queens, Rabbits, Sailboats, and Review

Week of March 8th to 10th--St. Patrick's Day

Spring Break—March 15^th, 16^th, & 17^th—No Class or Daycare

Week of March 22nd to 24th--Easter

March 23rd--Easter Party and Easter Egg Hunt

Week of March 29th to 31st--T, U, & V Week, Trains, Umbrellas, Veterinarians, and April Fool's Day

We will be closed the week of March 14^th.  There will be no school or daycare.

We will be evaluating the students that will be going to kindergarten next year beginning March 1^st.

If your child will be attending kindergarten next year, make sure and call their school to make an appointment for kindergarten screening on their school’s day.  Children must turn 5 on or before August 1^st.

The Easter Party will be on Wednesday, March 23^rd.  There are currently 18 people in the class.  Will the following mothers please send a special snack:  Evan Edwards, Alexis Hernandez, Levi Jordan, and Austin and Kaylee Myers.

REMINDER:  If the North Lawrence schools are called off because of the weather, we will also be called off.  Also, if there is a two-hour delay, class will be from 10:00-12:00.  Daycare will still be open regular hours.

If we miss 1 school day because of weather, you still need to pay for that day.  If we miss 2 or 3 days any one week, you still pay for the 1 day that week.
