Week of April 30 to May 2nd -- Continue Dinosaur Unit: Pteranodon, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus Rex; Mother's Day Surprise
Week of May 7th and 8th -- Summer Birthdays, Summer, Baseball, Last Day of School, and Memorial Day
May 9th -- No School
We
will be continuing to practice graduation songs this month.
We will have class Tuesday, May 7th. NLCS is closed for Primary Day, but we will be open since we're closed on Thursday.
There will not be any
class or extended care on Thursday, May 9th. For students not graduating, cost for the
week will be $28. For students
graduating it will be $42.
Graduation will be Thursday,
May 9th at 6:30 p.m. All the
graduates need to be here at 6:15 to get ready.
Graduation will begin at 6:30 for parents, relatives, and friends. It will be here at the preschool. Graduation is only for the kids who will be
attending kindergarten next year. The
children will be wearing caps and gowns.
Girls—please do not wear ponytails or anything on top of your head.
Please
let us know soon if your child will be coming for daycare this summer. We will be closed for Memorial Day, May 27th,
and for 2 weeks, July 1st to 12th, but open the rest of
the summer. We will be learning about some Bible stories on Thursdays in June from
9:00 to 1:00. We will share more
information later.
Rena
will be tutoring children this summer.
This is for children going into kindergarten through Algebra. If you are interested, please let us know. We are trying to finalize that schedule.
If
you have a child or know of someone who might be interested in school for next
year, they need to let us know soon.
Registration is $100 and is due by June 28th.
