Thank you for
sending snacks. They are very
appreciated. We have 14 people in the
class. Please send a snack at the
beginning of each month.
On Thursday,
October 27th, we will be having our Harvest Party instead of a
Halloween Party. The children need to
come to class in costume dressed as something related to farming or
autumn. Will the following children's
mothers please send a special treat for our party: Emily Bradford, Mylee Branaman, and Alex Carmichael.
In our safety
unit we are presenting dangers and what to do or how to avoid them. We want the children to be aware. If you have any questions, please let us
know.
Fall Break
will be October 20th. We
will have daycare Monday through Wednesday.

About Your Teachers
Rohnda is married to Bob, who is a retired fisheries research biologist at the Avoca Fish Hatchery. She has two daughters--Rena (see below) and
Robyn. Rohnda has a bachelor’s degree
from Indiana State University in elementary education with a minor in
kindergarten. She holds a master’s
degree from Indiana University in elementary education with an emphasis in
early childhood. Rohnda began teaching
third grade at Brownstown Elementary.
This is her 26th year to have Sunshine School. Rohnda and Rena attend River’s Edge Fellowship
Church. Rohnda likes to collect magnets
and owls and to read, read, and read when she can find the time.
Rena graduated from Milligan College
in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary
education. This is her 12th
year teaching. She likes to collect
keychains, and to read, shop, and watch sports, particularly IU basketball, the
Atlanta Braves, and the Indianapolis Colts.
