Week of January 14th to 16th:  A & B Week, Arctic, 9 & 10, Positions -- Under & On, Winter, Mittens, and All About Me

Week of January 21st to 23rd:  C & D Week, Dentists, Positions -- In & Between, Begin Writing Names and Tying Shoes, Winter, All About Me, and Martin Luther King

Week of January 28th to 30th:  E & F/G & H Week, Eskimos, Friends, Groundhogs, Hats, Positions -- Beside & Behind & Review, Winter, and All About Me

We will begin going through the alphabet again.  This time we will work on objects beginning with each letter, color pictures, and write the letters.

This month we are also working on a unit called “All About Me”; positions; Martin Luther King Jr., writing their names; and learning to tie their shoes.

On Thursday, February 13th, we will have a Valentine’s Day Party and Valentine Card Exchange.  We will be making Valentine Delivery Trucks for our valentine cards.  Please do not put any other children’s names on the card’s outside or envelopes.  Each child sends one to everyone else in their class, but they just sign their own names on the back of the cards.  There are currently 5 in the class.  The cards should be brought by February 11th.

Will the following children please send a special snack for our Valentine Party:  Maddox Brooking and Waylon Purdy.

Reminder:  If the North Lawrence schools are called off because of the weather, we also won’t have class, but will have daycare.  Also, if there is a two-hour delay, class will be from 10:00—1:00, and daycare will still be open regular hours.
